Detroit Bankrupt - In So Many Ways... (Flashback VIDEO)

While watching the Sunday news shows I was reminded of former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm - because she was a guest on "Meet the Press" yesterday. The mere mention of her name reminded me of a video I'd made back in September of 2012 that featured her.

You want to know why Detroit is screwed?

Watch the first video below. And know that more people in the state of Michigan voted for HER as their Governor than for any other governor in Michigan's history.

Granholm was Governor of Michigan from 2003-2011. Here is some more about Governor Granholm from Michigan.gov:

Jennifer M. Granholm was elected governor in 2002 and re-elected in 2006 with the largest number of votes ever cast for governor in Michigan. With the crisis in the auto industry and the global shift in manufacturing jobs to low wage countries, Michigan has had the toughest economy in the nation. Governor Granholm has worked relentlessly to diversify an economy that for 100 years has been based primarily on automotive manufacturing, seeking to add specific emerging sectors to Michigan's economic base.

This "lady" is the former GOVERNOR of the state of Michigan. She is a Democrat. This speech took place at the 2012 Democrat National Convention.

(OK.....I have to come clean. I think this is probably the funniest & shortest video I've ever made. Well, actually, my "Not Romney" video is probably funnier, but it's about 52:30 long. This "Granholm video" is only 4:32 long. I made the Granholm video AS I HEARD IT. When she was giving her speech live at the DNC all I could hear were a bunch of cheesy sound-effects after each "punch line" she delivered. That's why I inserted all the sound-effects. Everything she says in this speech as a "pro-Obama" comment just came off as a silly punchline to me because it was nothing but a bunch of lies. I'll NEVER be able to watch her complete convention speech WITHOUT hearing the cheesy sound-effects. It just wouldn't be right.)

I hope you laugh as much as I did making it (and re-watching it):

I guess Mitt Romney was probably correct. Detroit should have been allowed to fail. Oh well, chalk another one up for the losers.

If for some insane reason you'd like to see her almost 7-minute speech from the last DNC (minus the sound effects), here it is:

Just for fun...if you're game (and even though I included a link to this video above), I'm including my "Not Romney" video below. It's 52:30 long. If you've got the stamina, a healthy grasp of politics and pop culture, you'll probably find it entertaining. There are moments where it drags...but, for the most part, it's a fun video. I hope you like it.

For more info about this video's history on YouTube see the description under the video on YouTube. Ann Barnhardt "stars" in this video - Ann saw the video and actually tweeted this video to her followers...it had over 20,000 views thanks to her...on my old YouTube account - which YouTube deleted. Anywho...here's the same video on my "new" YouTube channel. Enjoy!

And, for those of you who wish to have the "pure form" of Ann Barnhardt, here she is (this is the video of Ann's that I used in my "Not Romney" video):
